"I haven't had Miranda as a doula, but I can see why you would want her to be! I took her class, Coping with Labor Pains. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I left feeling so empowered and like I had all the tools to power through my birth. Just as it should be. She was so kind and patient, and answered every one of my questions!

My husband went with me, and he was just as happy as I was. We did lots of hands on partner things and breathing exercises. They showed us how to communicate with each other and the doctors, and nurses. Showed us labor positions so my husband can help me with labor pains, and showed him places to massage to release tension. They showed us various tools to get through birth, many that I didn't know about; squatting bar, peanut ball, and the rebozo. They also talked about positions to give birth in, I had no idea honestly I was allowed to give birth in other ways then my back, especially in a hospital. She gave us exercises to tone the lower body and prepare for birth. They really reassured me! Hoping for a natural vaginal birth, and I feel now that I am 100% prepared. I am so happy I went. I will recommend to my friends, and will refer them to her if they need a doula. So very happy with this experience, I can't say enough good things!"
